Number of passengers on domestic routes was up 10.5 percent and international arrivals increased by 7.4 percent
The number of passengers on Turkish Airlines increased 8.7 percent in the first five months of 2015 from the previous year, according to a filing on the Borsa Istanbul Public Disclosure Platform on Monday.
The filing said that passenger numbers increased to 23.2 million from 21.4 million passengers in the same period of 2014.
Passenger numbers on domestic routes were up 10.5 percent, and international arrivals increased by 7.4 percent.
The number of planes rose to 277 from 250 compared with the January to May period of 2014.
Flight destinations increased to 274 from 251 in the past year.
